[Solved] The content area was not found on your page error in Divi Theme

Hi Friends,

Today I was working on one of the websites and I was getting this error “Sorry, the content area was not been found in your page” error. I am using the Divi theme in the backend for this site.

I created a new page in Elementor and I was trying to set that page as homepage or frontpage. I set this new page as the front page in WordPress from the reading section and after that when I was trying to edit that Elementor page I was getting this error.

To fix this issue I tried other normal ways like deactivating the plugins and updating the permalink structure but that does not resolve the issue.

After a long search, I was able to find the issue. The issue was with the Divi theme homepage template. There was a template added as the homepage in the theme builder.

In the above screenshot, you see the template as Unassigned was set as a homepage template. To fix this issue I have to remove the deselect the homepage from the template setting and it solves the issue and Elementor in the webpage start working again.

That’s It. Hope this helps you.
